Yea I feel ya. I think I may end up keeping the one that comes with mine. I'm using an old Samsung soundbar (no sub or anything) from 2017 that was about $300. It was a whim purchase at the time and when I checked yesterday, it was never rated very high to begin with; about 3.3 stars lol. At least the S90TR is an 8.1 on RTings. This TV will only be used for gaming 95% of the time anyways, but I expect a decent upgrade in my sound quality. I might throw it on FB marketplace for $500 just for kicks, but no harm no foul if I can't sell.

Does anyone know how you gain access to the LG partner store? It says I need a company email. Is there a workaround?

Try registering with your work email. Most major companies have partnerships

Interesting. I thought LG Partner Store sales are final and there are no returns (other than warranty claims I guess).
I already have 75X90CL and actually looking for a better and a bigger TV. 75X90CL is a nice VA FALD TV and Sony processing even makes it better. Of course a G4 OLED is (a lot) better but price of 83 inches does not make sense with this 77G4 deal.

Another option would be completely skipping this generation and wait for 2025 OLED lineup as rumors/news sound nice so far.
