This is a really good deal. I've been eyeing a new charger that's at least 100W.

How future-proof is this thing? I know high-end Android phones have some fancy power delivery protocols that are not included in the PD standard. One day, once day Apple might get there as well. Can this charger do those new protocols?

if you're getting a one plus you'll need something better, if you're getting samsung phones you'll be fine for a while. this charger has pd, qc3.0, pps. usb 4 or 240w is the next step up from here and i haven't seen any rumors about samsung adding anywhere near that amount. even with the 45w max on my samsung it only hits that from 0-20% then sits at 35w most of the way then 25w. when it gets closer to 100% it's at about 15w. and that's if I'm not using it.

I don't know the technical details but one of the reasons I like Anker chargers is because figuring out the charging protocols was too much and Anker claims their PowerIQ3 means universal compatibility and in use, I does seem like all devices do charge as fast as with their own chargers (I'm not actually timing but I just noticed how it's always fast).
It was nice because Samsung doesn't include the fastest charger with their phones but I didn't have to upgrade my charger because my Anker one already charged it at its fastest (which I did verify by looking up the "super fast charging" times).

Someone with more knowledge may be able to say whether it is actually each devices fastest charging protocol but at least for me it seems like it is.

"Qualcomm Quick Charge, Power Delivery, Apple Fast Charging, Samsung Fast Charging, and more. Charge phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices from a single USB-C port—at their fastest possible speed."

Ah yes, YOBVTBF, my favorite brand!

Reviews mention it has no safety certifications at all (no UL, ETL, or TUV) and doesn't support PPS charging.
