Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

Whoever tried to add 3rd line and got errors, at which step you got error? I can check a Verizon number and system lets me add to cart for a $35 plan. Not sure if I will get an error when try to checkout.
The error happens at the very last step of checkout, after you've entered your payment info.

Rep added unit 1 to my address and it went through.
Thanks for sharing this! I had pretty much given up. Now I want to try again using this "trick", but the problem is that my Metro account's next billing month starts in like 2 or 3 days. I'm not sure what will happen if I order the phone now (it's most likely not going to arrive before the end of the billing month). Will I be able to let the first line expire? I do want to order it while the first line is active since the plan cost will be $35 instead of $75.

What's so interesting is that so many people have issues getting that message and others like I who have ordered so many phones using so many email addresses have never have had an issue.
Did you use different names and mailing/billing addresses as well?

You can activate the phone as soon as it ships.

Order immediately. Activate as soon as it has been shipped. If your 1st line has expired, you can still log into the account, select the option to Extend Service. Metro will extend it 72 hrs for free

You can ask for grace period extension. I think they do like 72 hours if line expires and you can do it with automated 611 call.

So the cheapest plan is $50 which is not competitive with visible. But i am aware of tmobile network based alternatives that might be affordable. so what do we do, get the phone and one month of metro flex plus, then...? do we have to put the phone out of commission for a year or can the rest of the first year be on a t-mobile MVNO? And then after that we can bring it into Visible?

You can change the plan to a cheaper plan for a $50 one time fee.

You can't use it on TMobile. It is locked to Metro for one year.

So I was able to place another order before my account was overdue but after receiving phone it is not activating and my account shows suspended because payment is due (I have already extended once so cannot extend again). Does anyone know it will be an issue if i don't activate in this case? Only thing i can think of that my visible line may not transfer and close so i have to make sure i cancel that but any other gotcha? Anyone else has experience with this situation.

Metro PCS is the option i went with. Couldn't get it working with verizon at all, ATT and tmobile worked.
How did you get it work with ATT? I was not able to get any signal with redpocket's GMSA sim. T-mobile (google fi) works smoothly.

Anyone who was "blacklisted" before due to prior orders of similar deals succeeded this time? I wonder if they reset the list from updating eligibility of port-in numbers Smilie Kind of reluctant to try again for the trouble of getting a non-VOIP number.

I am trying to port using straight talk but after I put in everything, it makes me wait few minutes and says your number transfer cannot be transferred at this time. You must cancel your transfer to continue. This is going to be my second line. Anyone else getting it?

My last successful Metro order to my home address was in mid-April. I tried again in mid-Oct to get the iPhone 13, still got the "Call us to complete your order" message. I didn't call because I knew it wouldn't do any good.
