Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

select whichever carrier locks your phone, so metro pcs

however, mksd does not work with some sims no matter what, as far as I know, visible sim does not work.

Just to report that my order on 10/17, which was to activate on 10/22, did not unlock, have been checking every day since 04/22. I'm guessing the 1-year policy applies.

did you restart the phone? Sometimes it won't show "no sim restriction" until you do that.

So just did a network reset on the 366th day and it shows no sim restriction in the general -> about tab?
