Just picked a pair up at my local Wal-Mart, zip code 29223. I copied the brickseek address from the last post I saw near a month ago at $109, so hopefully it still works [brickseek.com].

Be aware that Google took away Pixel Buds' ability to tap/hold and read notifications. Without it, this is just a decent pair of earbuds. Lots of customers are unhappy right now because many bought Pixel Buds mainly for that feature, just as I did.

You're right on most of your points and the loss sucks. (Hopefully they revert it but being google, I doubt they care about people being unhappy). They're still better than decent. I still like multi-point pairing, the noise cancelling auto transparency has been great for my work environment, and translation ability has been pretty helpful. If someone's just listening to music and checking notifications while in a quiet environment, yeah... They're probably only fine but they do other things that other buds don't. I've got my own gripes about them though... Like how they flip out and they become unresponsive to inputs till I reset them or the phone.
Personally, I'm with you though that the feature should be restored although I've only used the notification function 3 times in the year I've had them. After a full year, I'd absolutely still get them at $100 or less. Above that, naw... Unless I can't find something that'd fill my needs in that price range.

The original Pixel Buds Pro sounded good but were way too big and would fall out all the time.
