We bought the Intex PremAire II Air Mattress Queen from woot for $34.99 in February. Used it 30 or so days total and has been awesome. No issues.

I need to see what the difference is between these as a backup one would be good to have.

Looks like the Intex PremAire II is a better mattress. I should have bought two at the time.

Hopefully its a Queen not a twin because the SKU that amazon gave is for a twin mattress. I had the old regular PVC one that lasted 8 years of sleepover abuse and a few patches but the dog got to it recently and well lets just say will not be patching it. My only concern is the new "green" ones as we always say may be better for the environment but if it only lasts 3 months vs 8 years then I am suspect. I was able to fully recycle my old one with the town however.

Supposedly the new green mattress is better for environment and for our health too. The old PVC ones are linked to cancer if I recall reading somewhere, due to toxic off gassing from the PVC. So I bought this, let's hope it's going to be long lasting. I didn't know about town recycling PVC mattress, I'll look into that. Thanks

Yes my local town has PVC recycling, you just have to call them. You cannot streamline it in normal recycling as its a different stream. They also told me all they recycle is 1 and 2 and 3 (PVC) on special. All the rest of the plastics go into regular waste stream.

As to cancer, well I think any plastic is probably bad for us long term, so until governments step in and regulates it we have little options for certain products at this time.

I remember when a tech company I worked for a decade ago opened it's new green campus they put plastic free utensils in the break room. They were all made from corn and were way better than the plastic alternatives but at the time were like 3x the cost so it is possible... Here's hoping.

SKU: 64021E points to a twin size.

I'll take Woot at their word that this is actually the queen size. The Amazon listing [amazon.com] for that SKU has both twin and queen as options, which is probably the source of confusion.

That said, if anyone actually wants the twin size like me, there's currently a lightning deal on it for $33.97 and I got an additional 30% off with a checkbox coupon for a final $23.78 before tax.

Thanks, I had the 30% off coupon too which brought the price down to $24. Pretty slick! I'd post that separately, would go frontpage also

I always get holes in these stupid things, so in 4 1 before my current one develops a leak. Solid deal compared to the local WM/Target

I find that inflating and letting it sit for a few hours before topping off really helps.
