If you don't have a PS5 yet and don't care about the PS5 PRO hold your horses! Sony and other retailers usually bundle the PS5 console along with a free game included for the same price $449 during BF Holiday.
Four years in and we are still only getting remastered games. PSN Plus is now $79.99 a year, Sony also increased the prices of their controllers from $74.99 to $79.99. The worse generation of gaming ever.

...Maybe I'm just older and play a much smaller pool of games now between changing diapers and working to buy more diapers and spending time on slickdeals looking for diapers deals lol

I skipped the PS4 until the last smallest version of the console came out and I will do that for the all digital PS5 as well...
Same here, I used to clear a dozen games a month- then after kids, lucky if I finish 2.
I bought a PS4 console only 2 years ago. I am usually a gen behind now- was an easy choice, $200 for PS4 and $200 for 20+ Triple A games, or $400 for just a PS5. At the time, most publishers were still releasing the same games on PS4 and 5. Only this year have there been PS5 only games I might be interested in.
Was thinking of finally upgrading to PS5 this Black Friday, but my library of PS4 games is still HUGE, and with the Quest 3 price drop to $499 I will be looking for a BF deal on that instead- more interested in something that will give me a new gaming experience.
If you order this, either do in store pickup or buy somewhere else. Shipt drivers and instacart drivers are known for stealing these and Apple products after taking a photo of delivery. Target doesnt care and wont refund you.
If you file a chargeback, youll then be in a circle of hell of "unpredictable errors" on their site that wont let you shop online.
Of course they do this when my 15% and 20% promo codes expired last week. Probably would've been excluded but did work on series x. I ended up using those promo codes to save $50 on a stationary bike

Wondering if they will have a pro bundle during BF….
They'll probably do bundles, but I doubt they'll be discounted much, if at all. At $700+, Sony's only targeting the top 1-2% of their user base. They're still barely making any money at $700, which is remarkable. That's why with the disc drive and stand, it's over $800.
I paid 300 bucks in 2020 for like 15 years of plus lol. 20 a piece from cdkeys. Then they did the new tiers, it charged me another 150 for upgrade, but it upgraded all 15 years so I have ps plus top tier til 2035.
Don't know if it lets you stack them anymore like I did
450 dollars / 15 years =30 dollars/year 30 a year for me for ps plus platinum or whatever it's called
You better hope they don't ever do away with PS Plus 😂. Microsoft is already slapping them around with Game Pass.

Creativity is punished in the industry now, they have to hit checkboxes and make sure they don't offend anyone rather than focus on make a great experience.
Don't buy the consoles at these prices. 10% off the launch price years ago for the non digital edition is a joke.
Bought slim PS4 for $199 in bf years ago. There's so many PS4 game backlogs I got. I still got no reason to get PS5. I go to store and all these PS5 only games I never heard of and have absolutely no interest in. Even if the PS5 drops to $250 or something, I'm not sure if I'll get it…
Yeah I bought both my ps3 slim 2012 refurb for $150 after waiting years for discount and then waited till 2017 for ps4 pro deal. Looks like no such price cuts for ps5 despite 3 years later. And at the time for the previous consoles my purpose was getting them for exclusives like mlb the show, uncharted and last of us. Don't think sequels are being released for either game so no reason to rush to buy. I do have series x but mainly just stream game pass form samsung smart monitor, phone or tablet. I can't remember last time I bought a physical game but will probably buy gta 6 and a physical copy of mlb the show 24 when it's on steep clearance sale
Sony is smart. Now the difference between the Pro and Amateur is $300, which will entice most consumers to buy the less expensive Slim model over the pro. If you are a PS enthusiast, you will get the Pro, but for $300 more, it's difficult to recommend the Pro over Slim which is about 10% more powerful for 75% more money.

Not that smart. People won't buy either and prices of both types will need to drop
