Sony is eager to unload these consoles and it's only 15% off the original launch price from four years ago. PS6 prototype was also supposedly shown behind closed doors at TGS. Price will drop more towards black Friday

I read an article that said even with the price increases, they're still only making marginal profits on the 5-6 year old technology in the base. I'll wait and scalp a used one off marketplace for $200. They're already getting close to that.

Sony makes it a hard sell at $500 for the standard PS5 and $780 for a Pro with a disc drive. Bigger titles like GoW and HFW released on PS4 too. And Sony just blows money on disaster projects like Concord or lazy remasters. This console generation is awful.
