If you don't have a PS5 yet and don't care about the PS5 PRO hold your horses! Sony and other retailers usually bundle the PS5 console along with a free game included for the same price $449 during BF Holiday.

349 or less. That is with a game. I am not paying the same price after 4 years, not a huge new game library, and Walmarts piled high with inventory.

Four years in and we are still only getting remastered games. PSN Plus is now $79.99 a year, Sony also increased the prices of their controllers from $74.99 to $79.99. The worse generation of gaming ever.

I traded in my PS4 Pro to buy a PS5 at launch which plays PS4 games the best. I've played some PS5 bangers which I've really enjoyed (e.g., FF7 Rebirth, Returnal, Astros Playroom) and still have some in the backlog, which I won't get to for some time. The reason I won't get get to them is because I've still been getting through a backlog off of PS4 games (either cheap or free through PS+). In my mind this was the best decision because the net cost to upgrade was around $200 and I was able play PS4 games the best way due to BC on all those titles.

I would encourage people to sell their old consoles 2 to 4 months before the launch of the new in order to maximize the value and use the proceeds to new the one. I did this all through Swappa.

Agreed. Still can justify the price on the Pro anyways and looking to add a PS5 to my Xbox Series X. Hoping for $399 or $449 with a newer game.

This is enticing, but I think I'll wait until a free game is included. I'm mainly getting it since I never had a PS4 Pro and figured my PS4 games will look good on it. Plus, I have some Gamestop credit from trading in a cheap Series S I got last year.

The Pro would be cool if I had enough stuff to trade in to bring the price down. I think I would rather spend that money on getting a decent PC instead of buying the Pro and the disc drive.

I'm good on these inflated priced items and services. Consoles been expensive but the prices will go down, with my ps4, and PC that has ps5 games that i get to play, i have no reason to buy a ps5 now. Or an xbox... As long as playstation games are being ported to PC, I'm satisfied

No they aren't. The PRO Model is a niche item for people that will pay for it. The PS5 is their regular console meant for people that don't know or care about having the latest and greatest. This deal is it till next Black Friday. They won't ever get cheaper than 399 for discless and 449 for with disc.

I'm not seeing $426 on for Prime. Only looking to get this for PS4 games I currently own. Worth the upgrade for the increase in loading time / select enhancements for PS4 games?

Yes of course! Many first party ps4 games will run like butter unlike some of their remasters counterparts
