If you don't have a PS5 yet and don't care about the PS5 PRO hold your horses! Sony and other retailers usually bundle the PS5 console along with a free game included for the same price $449 during BF Holiday.
Four years in and we are still only getting remastered games. PSN Plus is now $79.99 a year, Sony also increased the prices of their controllers from $74.99 to $79.99. The worse generation of gaming ever.

ive already had 2 ps5's
OG fat disk, traded into game spot, now slim ps5 digital, now im buying pro ps5 digital for upstairs and putting that downstairs, I guess gf says if she puts that as primary and my ps5 pro as secondary, she and I can both play our games online at same time.
sketchy. but whatever.
The ultimate cheapness is buying two ps5s, one being a pro, and still not wanting to pay full price for PS+
I mean, losing money on hardware and making it up through software is how the console industry works -- at least that's how it used to be with Microsoft and Sony.
1) that's not how it works anymore (due to market saturation and rising chip costs)
2) this is a premium version, for those wanting the cutting-edge tech. not "get you into the ecosystem cheap" base unit.
Is it worth playing? Never played before. Thinking about Diablo 4 next. I loved d3
Only Souls game I've played and it was great, but I don't think I'll be playing the other ones. This one had a huge open world to explore and that was the main part I liked. Combat was fun but very difficult.

Gotta win somehow
We gave our ps4 pro to her little cousins and I logged my ps plus 15 year account on it, they don't have much money so all the free games from my premium plus membership and online on top won them over.
I'm glad they enjoy it.

If by cutting edge you mean butter-knife edge, yes. This tech is pretty old at this point.
lol I regret buying my ps5; It's been collecting dust for months now and the last game I've played was FF7 Rebirth. I'm guessing the next time I will fire it up again is when GTA 6 releases. If I didn't have so much Gamestop trade-in credits sitting around, I probably wouldn't have even gotten the ps5.

Hopefully people will be smart and vote with their wallets, so to speak. It needs to underperform to send the message to Sony that a $700 console with no disc drive shouldn't exist.
