Regardless of cost, how does it actually fit? A shirt that fits great, feels great, and looks great, is worth $29.

88% Recycled polyester, 12% Elastane 🙈🙈🙈

Keep away.
Why? Compared to cotton, polyester is much more resilient (maintains its original characteristics), lasts longer, and excels at managing moisture. Every person I see wearing cotton shirts at the gym has large, obvious sweat stains. Sweat on cotton looks gross and feels gross. Cotton also lacks the flexibility you need for athletic activities.

The vast majority of cotton shirts are of such poor quality that they don't even feature the advantages cotton is supposed to have over polyester. Meanwhile, higher-end polyester garments are nearly as comfortable and breathable as cotton these days thanks to improvements in technology.

Polyester is also much easier to maintain. It air dries fast and requires no special attention. Most cotton doesn't feel good at all when air dried, so you have to buy chemical additives like fabric softeners. And if you use a dryer instead, cotton will degrade twice as quickly as polyester (per ChatGPT 4o).

$29 on "sale" for 88% polyester t shirt? Are they insane?
Why does it matter that it's polyester?

$58 polyester shirt....
Polyester today isn't like polyester from the 80s. A misconception about that is the only way I can understand all the hate for polyester on this thread. Have you ever worn high-end high-tech polyester fabrics? They are better than cotton on every conceivable metric with the possible exception of comfort against the skin, though again, with advanced manufacturing these days, that's debatable, and regardless, it's subjective.

For anyone claiming cotton is superior in any way to high-end polyester fabrics these days, besides the many clear proofs against that assertion, it's worth considering environmental impacts. Polyester sheds microplastics into the environment and generates 2.5x more CO2 emissions compared to cotton, but those are problems technology can solve. Cotton, though, being a natural fiber dependent on natural processes, has limited potential for gains in efficiency. Today it takes 713 gallons of water to make a single cotton t-shirt (compared to 0.2 gallons for polyester). ChatGPT estimates that if all of several significant changes were implemented to full effect in all industrial cotton fields across the globe, at most 40-50% of the current water requirement could be eliminated. In other words, we are unlikely ever to see a day when it requires less than 350 gallons of water to produce a single cotton t-shirt. Frankly I don't care much about water issues, but for anyone who does, I would think this is reason to pause.

Can these be found at Ross, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack or Marshalls?
Why would you buy this shirt from those stores when you can buy something that looks nice and is made of better material 🤣

Conventional wisdom says it's better for health. Organic matterial tested ans trialed for thousand years. Just wear polyester to sleep or laying on polyester bed linens comparing to cotton then you will see. Some wear clothes for fashion other for health and comfort. Keep wearing plastic, you might end up with hormon disruptor.

The soft jersey stuff is amazing. I live in the shorts and pants and they feel better than anything else.

omg just got 2 at same price in outlets. I would say based on my experience with lulu outlets (at least visit twice per month), anything under 30 is a "worth" (bras under $20).
The tshirt itself is soft, breathable and fast-dry. I got xs for myself(s-m female) and XL for 6ft boy. No complaints for fitting and activity. The color is a little greenish so my girl refuses. She hates all green.

have you tried both? Curious if they are really comparable.
I have two of these and prob 6 lulu shirts...the 32 degrees are in-between a casual type shirt and an under armor type shirt if that makes sense, they are super soft. If you are looking for just a plain soft shirt (what this post is about) I'd go with 32 degrees, if you are looking for a more stylish drop cut shirt I like some of the other style lulu shirts
