Neither of them are good TV's, but I'd have to assume the TCL Q6 at best buy that comes out to like 1200(if you include the gift cards) is a better deal overall. I'd take a budget TCL over a trash tier wal mart TV if it comes right down to it.

That deal is dead from what I can tell.

From the past history, and the look, this TV seems to be manufactured by HiSense.

We have 5 ONN TV's and have had ZERO issues with them. Now, they have there limitations (60hz) for example and they are NOTHING special, but the built in Roku is great and simplifies life, especially with so many other brands moving to Google OS .
Now, these 5 TV's are basically outside and were purchased as being "disposable" due to there price and placement for us. We have this brand in the following spots - Garage 55", outdoor covered patio 55", Pool House 75", Pool House 32", workout room 55", 3 of the 5 TV's are now 5 years old and the pool house TV's are a year old, no issues, ever, with any of them..

Would I buy this for a primary viewing TV, heck no, would I venture into the 86"+ space with this brand, not personally, all our Primary TV's are Samsung and that is prob the brand I would trust going north of 86", but I did want to provide a "quality" and "experience" point of reference with this brand. Kids rooms, and most other secondary TV's we have are TCL 6 series, but with TCL moving to Google TV vs. Roku now, that is what has kept us with the ONN ecosystem for these other locations as well.

Define what a good TV is then. For a plug and play budget TV, it's a good TV. If you want something for gaming or if you love watching movies on disc then obviously you're never going to start at this tier.
