Yep, glad I didn't jump on the 2024 Ultra when it first came out. Now I need to return the still unopened 2022 Ultras I bought for $69 from Amazon back on 9/18 and buy these. For $30 more and 30% faster, plus a better remote? Sounds good to me! Luckily I had not opened them.

I just mean what brand/model. Think I remember wired JBL buds coming with some of my past Roku Ultras. Not sure what bluetooth earbuds would be inexpensive enough to pack-in while also having acceptable audio quality and durability without it meaningfully affecting the price the total package has to be sold for.

I got this since I needed to replace the built-in Roku on my 2018 TCL but man this thing is glitchy.

Some content isn't loading properly. Here's the main example: The Twilight Zone on Fandango (I know, pretty specific) refuses to play in anything but SD, and it freezes when I try to back out. Doesn't happen on any other device just the 2024 Ultra.

Wtf is going on?

Don't know but the cable that came with mine was defective. Was causing the screen to black out at random and crackle. Plus I'm not seeing this supposed speed increase over the previous model. Might take it back for a refund.

I was also thinking that the speed increase was really overrated. This is replacing the built-in Roku from my 2018 TCL and it's not even much faster than that!

Probably returning as well. I really feel like they're beta testing people with this new model or something.
