Be forewarned, the spacing between the slats on these frames is too wide for most budget mattresses and causes multiple sag points.

If you're trying to do things on the cheap, adding some bungee cords as perpendicular supports to the slats helps a ton.

The price is great. Be careful of the cheap frames. The weight limit is pretty low compared to some others. 500 to 600 lbs limit typically means half that amount is usable. Check reviews for consumer concerns.

Weight limit is 500kilos...
I guess I'm confused- the reviews aren't complaining either?

I have a no name one similar to this from Amazon that was the lowest cost I could find with good reviews. Have a double thick king sized mattress an the 2 box springs under it. Me on top sometimes walking around to work on the areas at the ceiling seems to have held up.

I should add I don't have the bar going across the bottom. That helps considering how big it is an I'm using it to store massive items. The bar can be thought of as extra support but it also helps to not have it there when pushing a bunch of items below it. The bar could get in the way of some stuff like long wood, another frame, which directions you have to pull tubs out from, how you have to pack bins an what size cn be used, an just in general leave areas that cannot be used for storage.

Make sure to tighten the screws down in a criss cross pattern an tighten them down very well to help with stability.

Weight limit is listed as 500 Kilograms =1,102 pounds, not 500 pounds.

I need a king size, but the price job is best for the queen. I'll keep an eye out for a slick king. Nice find.

Leg posts are easy to stub your toes or feet.

Taped up lines on them to keep them visible.

You could also wrap some black insulated pipe foam around them to protect those toes. With the comforter on you wouldn't even notice. Smilie

I don't think I've seen a comment before that had the actual image in the post. Well done!

This. I bought a Brooklyn Bedding Hybrid mattress and they recommend the slats should be no more that 4" apart or else the warranty is void.

Which is why Zinus, who also makes mattresses, has twelve 3" wide wood slats to cover the 80 length. https://slickdeals.net/f/17792205-zinus-lottie-43-upholstered-platform-bed-frame-grey-queen-89-free-shipping-at-walmart?prop=pfd-17792205%7Cprt-1&src=featured-c
