this seems like a good deal... especially since this includes all episodes and the DVD releases exclude a bunch of stuff

Right, you'd have to buy the Time Life version they put out to get all episodes on DVD. It's long out of print and at least a few hundred bucks now used.

Are the episodes that are missing from the DVD set (I own it) just the Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters series?

EDIT: Looks like The Real Ghostbusters had 140 episodes, and Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters had 33 episodes.

So as others mentioned, the 10-volume DVD set is incomplete; while this digital collection is the complete 140-episode original series (without Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters)..
This only has 116 episodes. It's the same as the DVDs.

I have wanted this show for the longest. For 25 dollars it's a no brainer. Wish iTunes copies this sale but for 25 I can't complain.

Hmm, wonder if this show holds up, at the time I thought there was pretty decent writing on some of the episodes, that elevated it above most children's fare.
