I believe so. In store only. I haven't actually seen a Costco (in Florida) that sells any cameras for years now. They used to have a camera section. They shut it all down.

From very minimal research, the biggest difference is 4k in 360 mode. The x3 would switch to 1080 for 360 recording

The X3 shot 4K in 360, when you converted it to your typical TV, cellphone or computer screen, the resolution was cut down to 1080-1440p. The X4 retains most all of its modes at 4K.

Basically, are you willing to future proof your purchase by an extra few years by buying the more current version?

Personally, I love this camera. Takes some getting used to when editing but very cool to work with. I can see the upgrade when viewing video I've shot with it.

There is no camera section. But they do sell. All you do is just grab a cardboard, scan, pay and show the receipt @ electronics/gift card pickup area.
