Thanks op!!
All stores within 100 miles showed out of stock. I went to my local target for my wife's pickup order and went inside. There happened to be one left in the glass case.
It might be worth it to go check if your local target showed OOS
I searched on Google and it seems like there is a bit of a difference between i3-N305 and i3 -1215u. Is that right? It seems like 13-1215u is much better.

The I3-N305 is all an eight-core CPU built entirely from Efficiency cores aka E-cores. This makes it a direct descendant of Atom-based CPUs, though consider that the latest E-core design performs comparably to the i-series cores (now typically termed Performance cores or P-cores) of a 6th generation Intel CPU. Many Slickdealers here are still operating solid productivity systems with 4th generation CPUs (or older) with just four (4) i-series cores, so although the N305 is primarily targeted at high-efficiency operation, it definitely provides an interesting value.
In contrast, the 1215U is a six-core CPU pairing two 12th generation Performance cores (historically i-cores) along with four (4) Efficiency cores. So this CPU tries to split the difference between traditional four-core i-series CPUs and those CPUs with either two Performance cores (what would've been labeled an i3 prior to the 8th generation) and all-Efficiency core designs like the N305.
They're very different designs, but can come in at comparable price points and be targeted at the same potential user base. For the target user base, it might be impossible depending upon the task to distinguish the two CPUs.
Does anyone have the sku on the lenovo i7 for 149?

"Thanks, OP was able to pick one up. Target has some great deals on laptops, If you can find them. Just an FYI, they have a Lenovo, i7, 12 gigs of RAM and 512 solid state hard drive. The tag said 149 99. They didn't have it when I picked this up, otherwise, I would have got the Lenovo. Anybody have any comments on installing regular Windows 11 on this? I'm not familiar with the S version? Thanks, in advance.."
Just what I needed. Grabbed one from a local target this morning. Inlaws are going on a trip and wanted a laptop for email/facebook. They could have used their phone but wanted something like this. For what they are using it for $149 fits the bill.

I think I misspoke. It wasn't a Lenovo, but an Acer as somebody stated in a previous post Acer Aspire with an i7 and 16 gigs of ram. Look through the thread carefully I think there's a link. I think it's gonna be pretty difficult to find it too, In a store.
Thanks, OP. Went to two Targets that said they had stock .. hit paydirt at the second one, where they found the laptop in a locked clearance cart, after searching for 10 minutes. It did ring up at $249, but I showed them the webpage and they reduced it to $150.
The laptop .. for $150, is the best deal I've gotten on Slickdeals in .. a decade. Very solid laptop, good form factor, screen, speed, battery. I should have picked up two!
