I've been using a Magic Eraser on the inside to get rid of the film and it works really well. Just apply light pressure on the glass with a slightly damp magic eraser.
The key to not having your windshield fog up is to remove the film build up on it that is causing the fogging (as described in posts above).
A really cheap way to do that is just clean the inside of the glass with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol. That will strip off the layer of film, and also don't have to worry about scratching with a Magic Eraser.
My windshield used to fog up really bad, even after cleaning with Windex and stuff like that. Until someone told me about cleaning it with a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Works fantastic and is really cheap, and most people already have a bottle of rubbing alcohol in the home.
The plastic and vinyl in your car actually off gasses and forms a thin film on the inside of your windshield. This is why it can appear slightly hazy even if you never get it dirty.

I added everything that was marked as a significant discount from original price and the original price isn't even close to the normal prices elsewhere. The sponge itself I could not find, but the other items clearance prices like windshield wiper fluid are regular price.
There's a 3.5oz original treatment bottle that says $3.26 down from $8. 7oz goes for $9.50 on Amazon, so slight savings. Unless you want to send your kid out around the neighborhood cleaning windshields you can get the same price on a "Prime Early Deal" of 12 bottles for $36

How is this different than a microfiber cloth? This is just a sponge. It doesn't have any rainx liquid in it ..

Bought this a few years ago, along with the anti fog spray, I think this might've been near regular price back then. Probably less than 10 total! I can't imagine I would ever buy a pad like this for anything near current full price.
