When I see this keyboard on sale, I always have to comment. By far the best business/professional keyboard I have ever used. It's not even close. Relatively quiet, low profile, heavy enough not to slide around on your desk, and the circular indentations on the keys are perfect for accurate typing. It is an absolute quality piece of hardware.

Get a mechanical key board if you want loud. This is not for you.
Okay, thanks. The MX threw me off. Usually I see the letters MX with mechanical keyboards.

There is a Logitech MX Mechanical, for that matter, also a good keyboard

Serious question why are there keyboards that are $15 from Logitech and others that are $150 with maybe minor visual differences? I played on a $50 keyboard for a few years and now been using a $15 keyboard for few years and by far my $15 is the best keyboard I've ever had. What am I missing on by not getting a more expensive keyboard? Is it the lag or something else.
Hope you're not trolling. The price difference in this case, is because of multiple improvements starting from the battery life, rechargability, metallic casing, backlight support, printing on the keys, keypress feel, connectivity with multiple devices at the same time, to being easier to carry, and durability.

I too am a utilitarian and would have easily scoffed at the idea of a $100 keyboard couple years ago. MX Master 3S and the MX keys have literally changed my life. In fact, I liked it so much I ended up buying a SECOND set. I know it sounds silly, but this keyboard is seriously THAT good. Pair with their flagship mx mouse and looooord almighty you will never use any other device (at least for productivity, gaming is a whole diff category).

It just feels nice to use. The keys are nearly perfectly laid out (no stupid "Fn" key at the far corner, for example). No weird shenanigans with the arrow keys or numpad, just a standard layout. People bitch about the large Esc key that shifts the F key positions, but it literally has NEVER been an issue for me and i daily use F keys for work. Keys are quietish but tactile and just feels nice and smooth to use. The multi-device switching function is seamless and depending on your use case is super, super handy. I can move from work computer to gaming computer to controlling my TV instantaneously.

MX series started with the mouse and then the "MX keys". They didnt even come out with the "MX Mechanical" (not even their flagship mechanical model) model until recently.

It fascinates me how this never comes down in price all these years. Then again, it's super good.

Somehow got this plus the mouse for ~$130 pre-tax with the 20% coupon & Best Buy Plus. Took off another $7 on some sort of "Price Bundle" it says on the receipt too. I'll take it..

Add-on the ~10% on top of that w/ PayPal & we're looking at ~$117. Sweet!

Some of it is build, functionality, etc. Compare this to a cheaper scissor switch board (my current) and you can feel the difference in typing, though I was not at all a fan of the MX switches. A $15 Logitech will likely use rubber domes, which aren't great, either.

Went to our local Best Buy and nobody had ever heard of the Logitech recycling promo. Took them 10+ minutes to figure out what to do and then had to send someone to a back office to print out an actual coupon that they could scan at the cashier.

$72.xx plus tax, great deal.

Can you combine this in store with the 20% coupon for recycling?
AFAIK you can't pay with Paypal in store.

Key press force is lighter and more uniform
Key travel distance is shorter
Key motion is straight as opposed to wobbly

Mine came out to 69.15 plus tax with the Best Buy Membership discount and recycling coupon. Had been eyeing this one for a long time.
