Thanks OP, I just got a new job so I was waiting to upgrade until that happened. I have been using my wh-1000xm3 since 2019 and they are very worn out. ANC isn't too powerful anymore.

This will be a great gift for myself. My instinct was to get a black color again since it should be look new longer. Is that true? How is the gray color in terms of longevity?

For people asking why (some, including me) people find these superior to XM5s is the folding mechanism and the ability to fold flat. I believe that even means the case they come in will be smaller. This may not be important to some.

Also, if you have a Target RED card (I have one that is hooked to my debit card), you'll get 5% off and free shipping. Depending on state you live in, that might help offset taxes. In Florida, my total was $132.95 shipped

Black looks better than the tan ones IMO. I've had both.

Not at the time when I went. They went out of stock and showed a message saying not competitively priced. I went to buy from Target instead and about an hour later they came back into stock apparently for some of you.
