Looks like it's on sale for the same price on other sites. What's the deal with the $150 gift card, is it for buydig only?

Edit: I just got off the phone with the buydig customer service, she said that the $150 gift card is actually a $150 refund on the credit card that use for payment.

What's "accidental" warranty mean ? Its not a regular warranty? Only if you have an accident like your kid smashing the screen ?

What makes Buydig attractive?

Edit: Sorry, I am guessing the gift card/warranty make it attractive

Wall mounting is extremely YMMV and depends on the hired person who comes to do the work. Have heard some not so great things from the Handy folks that LG hires

I was dead set on the Samsung S90D, but the extended warranty pushed me over the edge. Accidental damage coverage is pretty rare.

Does the warranty cover burn in protection? Edit: Yes
Does the warranty start after the manufacturer warranty or from purchase date? Guessing purchase date and runs concurrent however not sure

There is also an additional $15 coupon that works when you sign up for email/texts

CPS warranties have some pretty bad reviews though on Amazon... Id prefer Costco.

The warranty starts 30 days after purchase. Costco only covers manufacturer defects and maybe power surges. Accidental damage is pretty rare. I have had CPS warranties from Buydig before, no first hand experience with the claims department.

The big advantage of this warranty over the Costco warranty is that the CPS warranty covers accident damage and burn in. The All State Costco warranty excludes burn in. The question is, will CPS actually be good about honoring the warranty.

Found this:

4 Year Accidental Television / Projector Extended Warranty under $2500

Features

Accidental Damage coverage
Warranty covers the purchased product against defects in material or workmanship for 4 years starting 30 days after purchase
Impact Damage
Dropping while moving or mounting the TV or Projector
From kids playing ball in the house
Burn in covered - usually not covered by the OEM
Remote Control replacement - hot swap, no question asked
Tech Support Included - initial product setup and/or configuration
Authorized service dispatched by Consumer Priority Service

Not trying to be a buzz kill but here is the Amazon link someone provided on Reddit. They noticed that the positive reviews were from people just comfortable they had the warranty and not people who used it. After reading it, it really lowered my confidence in the product and Id rather stick with Costco
