I had the harbor freight version and didn't do a good job setting up. I routed a few nice portions of aluminum from the template. Box joints on the table saw for me from then on. Maybe hand cut if I ever really want dovetails.

I bought this 20+ years ago when it first came out. Still haven't used it...

I bought this in February 2023 and paid $189. I've also seen it for around $200 before. I don't know if this is a good deal or not (seems like one) but I know for sure that the usual price is not $342.

For those looking to buy it, I like mine but don't use it as much as I thought. I used to use it for the drawers on nice furniture but I started to realize that nice baltic birch drawers look nearly as good and take a fraction of the time. YMMV since I'm just not a guy that's really into joinery.

I have this jig. Although these dovetailing jigs can be fussy to set up, once you dial it in you'll get perfect results for as many drawers as you want to make. I've used mine for half-blind dovetails on drawers and also through-dovetails on jewelry boxes.

Mine has been sitting in a box for 3 years now. I got mine for $70 off eBay. I'm sure that I'll get to it one day Big Grin.

It's so much easier to just use a drawer-lock bit in my router when I make drawers. I have a lot of woodworking tools I "thought" I needed.

I checked on camelcamalcamel and it looks like price was never that high. I got intrigued and there is a question mark next to that price. When clicked it says something like "suggested retail price by the manufacturer" which is completely BS. Amazon is trying new things to boost their sales. Greedy MF
