How are people using these and other cameras with recordings? Monthly subs? I cant imagine an sd card would last very long constantly writing video to it

You can drop a HDD/SDD in the HomeBase 3 and keep footage recorded locally.

So $150 plus + a hard drive, just to use one camera?

Depending on the card, my 128GB has been going on for 2-3 years now... constantly recording.

I have the C210 (the 1080p version of the C220) and use it as a garage cam.
the 1080 even quality is decent, but live stream tends to be spotty and quality is poor.
Just checked firmware and it updated now to allow 24/7 recording on Homebase 3 (was 24/7 on SD card in camera only before, events were saved on Homebase).
I will not be recording 24/7 though, event capture works fine for what I need.
Mainly use it to see if wife's car is in the garage, and as a backup garage entry if the flood light cam, door bell cam, and porch cam do not catch it.

All of their devices. People setup a whole security surveillance. Use the Eufy doorbell, place additional cameras at all high traffic locations, inside/outside the house/business.

Make sure you use a high endurance microSD card recommended by Eufy. They work nicely. Only had a few microSD cards fail over the years and they were the free ones from MicroCenter.
