Is it safe to store power tools (without batteries) in this thing? What about a 3D printer? Would I need to add a cover or anything extra to be okay during rain storms?

I've been using the next size up model from this for the past 6 years as a laundry shed. Still holding up fine.

What's the next size up? Maybe it's also on sale..

can you share what you did to make it generator ready?
Tons of youtube vids on it.
Basically a large louvered vent in one side, a 14-16" attic fan on the other side with a thermostat, hole for exhaust, hole for power cord access, and hole for gas hose if doing propane or natural gas.

I bought the version of this before they changed how the back panel and sides mount together ($65 HD). The connections on the back split. Suncast would not warranty it. They said it required a floor. Had the shed on pavers.
The top cover is warping (1/2 day in sun). It still works just taped up the sides.

Might need to remove front tires, I keep my snowblower and lawn mower in depending on which season I need and I have to fold the push bars down on both to collapse them enough to fit, still hold a lot of crap though, outdoor furniture cushions, yard tools, needed a second for my generator, power washer and other various garage crap

I was wondering the same thing so I went to measure, and my 24" and 30" bikes are longer than 60".
Ah thanks for checking and letting me know though!

Bought one for a generator. It's in the sun for the better part of the day and the top is warping. It already pulled the screws out of one side, leaving a three inch gap between the top and the side. Keep it away from prolonged sun exposure.

I'll build my own next summer.

All the various yard crap, lawn mower storage in the winter, snowblower in the summer, outdoor furniture covers, edger, yard tools, etc! It's maxed out now and wanted another now to store generator, large shop vac, roof racks, power washer
My current one still looks brand new after 7 years minus the bird crap on it lol
We average around 7-8ft of snow per winter and it gets some direct Sun in the summer, been out there and it's had 1 foot thick of ice on the roof not even the slightest bit of bowing or anything!

What's this? A shed built for ANTS?!

jk

It's a good deal, but I need one a bit taller for all my hand lawn tools which are currently stacked against the side of the house taking the brutality of all four seasons lol
