Bought the white one a year ago. Just set it up 3 days ago and it is flimsy as a noodle. The screws and holes don't line up well, the whole thing is very light. It will shift easily if not anchored. Ended up giving it away for free on FB to save me a dump run.

Yes just did my own from treated limber (4) 4x4x8 for the legs and (4) 4x4x10 for the top square. With pergola brackets and sunshadesbouhht from Amazon total cost was $190.

Allot sturdier and longer lasting than this prefab garbage.

considering it uses "ground spikes" to "secure the item to your yard", i'd say this is <1 season quality. First nice gust of wind and I hope you have good insurance.

I bought 2 in the past to use as trellis for my grape vines, minus the shades.
FWIW, they survived Milton direct hit without issue.

I wondering if you could just diy something similar would be better. 4x4 treated post, treated 2x4, heavy duty nuts, and a canopy shade top.

Looks like $11 per 4x4x8 and $4 per 2x4x8 (if you make it a little smaller.
