The best deal was when they had the phone plus pixel watch for 500. You would buy the bundle and then return the watch. Phone ended up being 319.

I saw the deal, didn't want to deal with the return. Hopefully there is a better deal soon.

I bought a 128GB Pixel 7, and I regret the 128GB so much. Love the phone otherwise.

But the pixel backs up the whole OS whenever you update, so if the update fails, it has a complete OS to fall back on. Which is cool, but the result is that you will have less space than you expect.

I'm constantly fighting to clear up space on my phone. The phone starts to complain that things won't work right after I get to less than about 5GB free, which happens often. I would get the 256GB version if at all possible.

There must be a way to delete the older OS backups.

Most called it bad because the watch was Gen 1 and basically useless but since you could return it, it made it a much much better deal.

The return for me was easy since the drop off center is less than 3 miles away.

I've been using pixel 8 for 6 months maybe. Everything is great except the battery life. Rarely make it a whole day.

Size it great, easily fitsin one hand and the camera is excellent. Just poor battery

I get 2 days on my battery life P8pro, but I am usually only on the phone for about 2.5 hours a day. What apps are you generally on? Just curious.

I believe the previous OS is stored in some kind of "secure" enclave. If it's possible, it's non-trivial.
