This is a slick deal and I'd jump on it if I didn't love the money-saving DIY formula so much or if I needed a new sprayer. I know some people in here are downplaying the DIY formula, but 1) I've been using it for years and it's INCREDIBLY effective at cleaning; it foams wonderfully and I notice absolutely no difference between the DIY and brand name stuff, and 2) nobody's actually posted the actual recipe so here it is:

2oz dawn, 1oz alcohol and 13oz water = DIY Dawn powerwash substitute

I use the 'platinum' Dawn for this so perhaps that makes a difference. Cheap plain vodka works like a charm (and it's great to have on hand for a lot of other home cleaning/disinfecting uses as well). Got that recipe from a Slickdeals thread and want to pay it forward, lol.

Costco regularly sells this for $12.99 for a 3 pack that totals 64.5oz. I think they are occasionally on sale for $10.99. For the lemon scent, the four pack totals 64oz and with S&S, I'm getting $9.78 so it's about a dollar and change cheaper than Costco on sale.

Good deal, but I've noticed more and more subscribe and save products are only giving 10% off for 5+ monthly subscriptions instead of the usual 15%.

Have a feeling they're phasing that out. We would all still buy, because 10% is better than nothing if the regular price is comparable to other stores

Love this stuff. Also love the standard "You can make this at home with soap and alcohol and whatever" recipes that never work as well Big Grin

A bottle last for a couple of weeks and it's less than $3 a bottle. Why bother making it yourself.

Making it yourself at home doesn't match the formula they have. I really didn't want to buy this especially with the extra plastic waste, but DIY spray atomizes better and you're far more likely to inhale it because more particles stay in the air instead of sticking to whatever you're washing.

Costco's three packs are 21.5oz each so 64.5oz total. These are only 16oz each so 64oz total. They're basically the same amounts, just packaged differently.
