5 year warranty, and generally seems to be a B tier PSU, and Cybernetics gives it the old Standard+ acoustic rating, if you're into those rankings. I don't see a list of cables that it comes with, but specs do say 12 SATA drives so maybe there are enough cables included. That could possibly make this interesting for a NAS.

$100 gets you an A-tier Corsair RM850X with a 10 year warranty and Japanese capacitors. It comes with cables for 12 sata drives and zero fan up to 350 watts. If $23 isn't going to break your build budget, it's probably worth spending more.

By going to Amazon and typing Corsair rm850x I was able to get this for you:
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-RM...1_1?sr=8-1

FWIW, you can also buy at Corsair and Newegg for the same price. If you want that route, you will have to try this searching technique yourself.

Here's a link at PC Part Picker:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/...9020200-na
Shows 5 different sellers.
Looks like it's the "2021" model.

The "2024" model is "ATX 3.1 Compliant", NOT the "2021" model.
I think it's a good deal for $100.

Great deal, eteknix had a review on this PSU and say it's reliable and above average in most tests, 70$ for a gold 850w is probably the best deal I've seen all year

I felt sad because i bought this unit like 6 months ago at around $99. So far so good nothing to complaint.. but I'm building a system for my brother-in-law and found this $70 price point is unbeatable.. Even though yes it is an older model but my current system is running 4080 and i used one of their 3-1 12VHPWR connector and so far i dont have any issues at all. So for anyone i would still recommend this PSU because of the pricing.

Ordered the rm1000x this morning. This thread just validates my thoughts on Corsair over other brands.
