I love everything about this set. The removable handle makes storage a breeze. Not only in the cabinet but also in the fridge, where the cookware can be used as storage containers. The cookware literally goes from the fridge to the stove to the table for serving. No need you use separate cookware and serving dishes. You can even eat directly off them.
As for the non-stick lining, always choose light colored ones if you have the option. The biggest problem with quality non-stick cookware isn't chipping or peeling. It's carbonization. That when organic substances get baked on over time. And it's pretty much impossible to remove, ruining the non-stick properties. You can see this coating by scratching your pans hard with your fingers. You'll see black particles under your nails. The best solution is prevention and to do so, you need to scrub off all food residue when cleaning. The problem with black coatings is that you can't see the residue. This white coating shows to see residues and stuck on food easily.
And by the way, THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER USE COOKING SPRAY ON NON-STICK COOKWARE! The lecithin (which makes eggs so hard to clean off) will carbonize quickly and it will no longer be non-stick.
It's also great that the coating isn't ceramic. Ceramic nonstick coatings have been shown to be less durable because ceramic is brittle. Any impact, including those from utensils, will crack it. Chipping often happens in just months. In contrast, PTFE and similar coatings are soft and flexible. And yes, they're nontoxic and biologically inert, but that's a discussion for another time.
