Lowest price I've seen for this.

Wish the Wiim Ultra had a 20% discount.

If I didn't already have the Martin Logan forte, I'd be on this.

Wiim's products are really good. And their app works well, unlike some other companies who shall remain nameless.

Sonos deserves all the naming they get. So frustrating.

Does this also kick the llama's ass? If you know, you know!

Sorry, just had to post this as it was the first thought that got triggered and nobody else wrote it for me to like.

Debating between this wiim amp at an excellent price and the wiim amp pro at the regular price. Anyone compare both and offer opinion if the wiim amp pro is worth 50% more? I know the pro version has the pffb circuit with better distortion and less interaction with speaker impedance as well as a better DAC. But can you hear the difference? I have the wiim pro plus + Loxjie A30. Will the Wiim amp beat this combo?

Unless you have a pair of very high-end speakers, I doubt you can hear the difference. I have ELAC and Klipsch bookshelves, maybe I am just old, but even the USB-C DACs sound good to me these days.

Thanks. Do you have the wiim amp or wiim amp pro? Looking for opinions from those that own these. I have triangle BR02 and my combo sounds pretty darn good. The only deficiency is that there is no high pass filter to incorporate a subwoofer. I find amps that have a dac sound better than using analog out into an amp e.g. dac to analog out -> cables -> amp sounds not as good as dac to coax -> cable -> dac amp.

I have the WiiM amp in my son's bedroom powering a couple of large bookshelf speakers. Does great in that application as it streams Spotify without trouble and connects a turntable and cd player.

Also have the WiiM Pro Plus in the media room for a similar purpose, but connected to a receiver.

I have the Wiim Amp, I feel the amplifier is the weak point, not the Dac as I can't tell the difference if I feed it with an external Dac or just stream music using its built-in Dac. However I can tell the difference if I use the same Dac but different amp. Just my 2 cents...

Thank you. I read some reviews (What hifi) and they fault the Wiim Amp as being dynamically flat. I am wondering if the Wiim Amp Pro suffers from the same issue. The Aiyima A70 is also a PFFB corrected amp and is on sale for $159, of course without the streamer and DAC. $159 + $120 (Wiim Pro +) = $279 << $379 for the Wiim Amp Pro with the same /similar amp section and lesser ESS DAC. My guess is that the Wiim Amp is not as good as the Wiim Pro + and the Aiyima A70 combo. And I have zero idea for an additional $100 how much the Wiim Amp Pro is better if at all, which is what I am trying to find out.

Pardon the newbie question, but I don't have any experience with these. My scenario: I'm building a new home and every room will have a ceiling speaker in it. I'd like to have each room be able to play it's own music (e.g., if a guest stays in room 1, I'd like them to be able to play whatever they want in room 1. If another guest stays in room 2, I'd like for them to be able to play their music in room 2 without interfering with room 1. And so on...)

Will this WiiM device allow me to do that? If so, how would you set it up to accomplish that? (Do I need to buy X amount of WiiM amps for X amount of rooms and each room gets its own WiiM amp?)
