Sorry, just had to post this as it was the first thought that got triggered and nobody else wrote it for me to like.
Will this WiiM device allow me to do that? If so, how would you set it up to accomplish that? (Do I need to buy X amount of WiiM amps for X amount of rooms and each room gets its own WiiM amp?)

Or separate Sonos amps in each room.
Haven't used Sonos, but the Wiim app discovers and displays all Wiim devices in the house once downloaded. Long as the devices and rooms have recognizable names, they can be controlled via the app.
