Thanks. Same seller, VIP Outlet. They raised the price by a dollar on eBay, which is a dirty trick they do regularly when an item starts selling well. It's frustrating to post a deal and then see them raise the price when SDers start buying it, basically killing the thread.

Wrought iron is even better than cast iron (same properties, but stronger, thinner, lighter, and less brittle) but not everyone can cook or cares to learn how to. Also, not everyone wants to clean or season cast/wrought iron. With these non-stick pans, you can throw them into a dishwasher

you are right, I didnt even know about wrought iron. will look more into it. The problem with every other cooking ware is they are filled with harmful chemicals that directly goes/cooks into your food. I am already getting enough chemicals on a daily basis,

Wrought is a better alternative cast but somewhat a moot point if you already have a seasoned cast iron pan, no reason to replace it. It makes a fantastic gift, though. I 100% agree with the chemicals yet I think the target market here is the parents with a couple of kids making grilled cheese or heating up spaghetti-o's most days; not the person looking to get the perfect sear on scallops. Pro-tip with cast/wrought iron if you have a propane grill, just put the wrought/cast iron pan right on the propane grill grates to keep all the smoke outdoors. This could be the best purpose of a propane grill; for most, it would not be worth the time/effort/cost of heating up a charcoal grill for this purpose

Out of curiosity whats your beef with tri-ply stainless? I think its an excellent compromise of performance and ease of use.
