I see a lot of people saying $199 is a rip off because its 2TB, but that is not accurate IMO
It's actually a fair price for this form factor SSD. The equivalent PC part is M.2 2230, which run $150-$250 for a 2TB size. So $199-$249 for this 2TB size is very fair considering you are not just getting the SSD chip for that price but also the external enclosure and interface for it to plug into the XBOX.
Even if so, a 5% price difference doesn't make one deal "horrible" and the other amazing. Some might prefer to shop at Amazon given their much better return policy & customer service versus Newegg.
$150 is my buy it price. I like playing lots of different games and certain games (I'm looking at you COD) take up way too much space, so I'm constantly moving games around, it's annoying. I wish microsoft.com would sell this so I could at least use my points to buy it.

IMO that is going to be a tough price point to reach with current SSD pricing. If you bought the equivalent PC part, even on current prime day sale, its still $150 on sale just for the bare 2TB M.2 2230 drive. This includes a drive like that, plus an enclosure on top of it. Your only chance is if some shop does a massive closeout sale at some point. They don't make these in 4TB size even for PC, so I doubt there will be any big blowout on 2TB anytime soon due to a new model coming out.

I might bite at $100 for 1TB, don't need 2 TB. When Stalker 2 comes out, if it's huge, I'll have to try to make room.
