Torches and lighters are very much hit and miss. Sometimes they last a bit longer and sometimes they don't. I don't spend a lot of money on them now. Even the name brands like Xikar will die and at 4-5X the price. Yes, they a warrantee, but I don't wanna hassle sending it in. I now buy this $10 Jetliner (I think) and they work great, till they don't.

Most problems with torch lighters is using poor quality fuel and not refilling them correctly.
