The bundle deals a few days ago were far better. Or just get the CPU on Ali for $135.

Good price on a good value CPU if you want to stay in AM4. Personally I opted to grab it for cheap from AliExpress but you don't get a cooler or warranty with that.

Curious why are these CPUs sold on Ali for cheaper. Aren't they manufactured by TSMC in Taiwan?

Aliexpress is full of scammers sending out empty packages. You may get lucky but you're rolling the dice and Ali guarantees are bs.

I'm pondering this vs a 5800x non 3d (which I'm using now) for iracing vr on a reverb g2 and a 4090.
I'd need a pretty large gain to justify swapping the CPU at this point in the boards life though.

Plus 9800x3d is close(probably). So may make more sense to go that way (tight budget not being a problem)

This deal is dang good though. I'd probably jump on it for the normal gamer.

This is going to be better for gaming compared to the 5800x

I'm assuming the Ali CPUs are just from OEM bulk assortment. I ordered a 5700x3d a few months ago and it arrived in a plastic tray, no fancy retail package. Flawless transaction for me, I paid with PayPal so if there was an issue I'm protected. The only drawback is it took about two weeks to arrive.

5700x3d doesn't come with a cooler no matter where you buy it.

I purchased an AliExpress cpu and the silicon seems pretty good. I have an all core undervolt of 30mv and it's rock solid stable. I didn't bother trying to push it further because I just don't see the point as it already runs so cool/stable where it sits.
