No automatic, no dice!!

Just kidding! This looks nice, but I have a collection of legacy quartz watches that all ran out of batteries. Meanwhile, my solar Citizen Eco-Drive, Seiko Propex, and one automatic are still ready to go for those rare casual or formal occasions.

Man I have been seeing a lot of sexy ass Timex watches lately but I know nothing about watches and always thought Timex was a cheap brand. What to do what to do

It's a cheap brand but it's not a bad brand by any means. I'd say try them out!

I bought a Timex earlier this year. Good looking watch and of the 6-7 watches I have, somehow the Timex has received the most compliments. That said - the Timex movement is loud. I mean so loud I don't keep it in my room at night because I can hear it ticking away. This can be annoying while wearing it throughout the day.

That's some bogus marketing ploy. That being said timex is great for building a cheap and fashionable collection. I love my 60$ timex

Changing out a battery on most quarts watches is stupid easy and quick to do tho. Cheaper than having an auto serviced or a solar which often has a capacitor that goes bad and while they last longer - it also then costs a multi fold of a simple battery. In other words - it's a bit of a wash but I'd argue quartz or digital is still the way to go for most people.
