I would wait till it goes down to at least $549 again. The case was included on September 10th. It was $649 - $100 coupon, which they have since deactivated. They're also currently blocking ecocredit coupons. Black Friday will likely be a good time to buy.

I bought their bundle Delta 3 Plus + 220W Nextgen bifacial panel + case for $699 after $100 off coupon on September 10th. That bundle was $799 before $100 coupon, now it's $899 and the coupon is deactivated.

It has twice the solar input, runs much quieter (basically silent), and can be used like a UPS among other things. Outputs on the front, extra battery plug is on the rear now, faster USB-C ports; it's effectively an upgrade in every way and fixes most complaints about the delta 2.

I don't know about faster ports, but now it has dual 140W USB-C ports instead of 100W on the Delta 2. It also has the next generation of LFP batteries that are rated for 4000 cycles.

It's a tough sell because just a few weeks ago it was only $549, but it now includes a carrying bag, so maybe that makes up for the $35 price difference.

I looked at the Bluetti AC180, but since I plan to use mine with audio equipment, it has been shown in tests to create a loud buzzing sound, so it was a dealbreaker. The Delta 2 and 3 plus are pretty clean electrically for using with audio, but the fans on the Delta 2 are super loud, but barely audible on the 3 plus.

Yeah, 140W vs 100W (so faster charging; there's no data to speak of). Basically USB PD 3.1 vs 3.0. I mean functionally, 100W is more than enough; but the silent fans on the new model are the game changer, imo.

i had to return my c1000. sometimes the solar didn't charge. many times the display shows no power draw, whether it's low power items (like cell phone) or even high power like a window AC that is drawing over 100w. the Delta 3 Plus appeals to me because it has significantly better solar specs. that alone makes it significantly better (for my use case as I only power by solar). when it comes to these power stations i'm learning that you need to somewhat anticipate doing a return..... for this reason alone I'm waiting on a deal from Costco unless there's a fire sale elsewhere.

On the UPS, not only does it claim a good switchover time (10ms vs 20-30ms for previous generations or competing units), they claim it connects by USB to a computer so the computer knows when to shut down safely.

Retail price on this $650 from all the research I've done - so there is a discount but it's not as crazy as the pricing would have you believe. But this does look to be by far the best 1000W power station.
