Be aware the Costco return policy does not apply. If you don't like them, you will be charged return shipping and cannot return to a Costco store.

I returned a pair of these. Not because of sound quality or anc, rather they fit too tight on my head. They put pressure under my ears that was too uncomfortable. I didn't want to return them but I did. Now I have Sony xm4's. I like the soundcore app better than the sony app. The anc and audio quality on both were about the same for me. The sony are more comfortable, but that will differ between people. For the $$, I'd go with the q45's.

These are great headphones for the price BTW. My boss gifted me with some Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones some time back for some company flights I had to take. I liked noise cancelling so much on the plane that I wanted to get a pair for my wife. The B&Ws were way too expensive, so I went with the Q45s and I almost like them more.

what are the chances the space one pro's drop in price by Black Friday?
Debating on pulling the trigger on these since they are more than half off compared to the pro's.

These are great headphones for the price BTW. My boss gifted me with some Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones some time back for some company flights I had to take. I liked noise cancelling so much on the plane that I wanted to get a pair for my wife. The B&Ws were way too expensive, so I went with the Q45s and I almost like them more.

I bought mine to use on planes. I'm very disappointed by the way the ANC goes in and out during takeoffs and landings when the noise is the loudest. Otherwise they sound average to me. I hope the Sony XM4's go down to $130 again so I can give them a try.

If you value anc and can afford a bit more there's no real alternatives to Sony and Bose. They are so far ahead of other brands in ANC

Agreed, any cheap ANC isn't going to handle something like plane takeoffs

I left My Bose QC 35 on a plane. How do these compare? Mostly for use on planes. I have many other headphones for non-noisy environments.

Also considering the Soundcore Anker Q20i as a cheaper alternative for airplanes if they are any good.

Agreed. And I don't think my head is particularly large. They might be getting a bit better with time, but they have a stiff metal headband and the clamping force is excessive.

Also, they lack wear detection, which I consider a fairly standard feature - it's a surprising omission at this price point (some of Anker's own less expensive headphones have it).
