Not getting the uber eats coupons anymore, so even with a 20% discount this has been less attractive for me. I used to get those coupons almost weekly.

Costco doesn't have PP checkout. You mean just use Amex on uber and you get 20% off so why deal with this costco GC?

Has anyone else had issues with Uber at SFO? I recently visited San Francisco and tried to get a ride with Uber on my iPhone, but it just kept me waiting forever. I switched to Lyft and got a driver confirmed in minutes. Funny thing is, I had no problems using the Uber app in the city itself, just at the airport. I think I ran into the same problem at SFO before, but other airports seem fine. Curious if anyone else has experienced this!

I think when you have credits in your uber account, the rides cost about 20% more.

Yes it does. The amex credit is redeemed first followed by the gift card balance and then credit card. Using it for 2 years now. does it automatically in that order

I noticed I get more promos while my uber cash balance is under $100. It could be a timing thing.. sometimes I would get silence for weeks, and then I have to spend to use up amex credit otherwise it expires.. and then when cash is under $100 - I get spammed like 3-4 times a week.
They also recently adjusted the promotion for 40% off to no longer stack with BOGO items. Free item after X spend still seems to stack.

Additional fees for Uber Eats have become ridiculous lately. Plus they have tremendously reduced the 20-40% off coupons. Unless they have some really good offers like BOGO for some restaurants , I end up using Doordash. I even find it hard to use the Amex Gold and Platinum monthly credit now due to this. It's a bummer honestly.

I'm hoping things can still change before Nov 8th, a lot more annoying if I have to remember to charge an order directly to the card every month.
