If you scroll to earlier in the video linked below, youll see the 990 benches at 768.88 MB/S vs the 850 at 631.77. Sure, that is 21% faster. But applied to real world I don't see how that matters. I got 381GB of video and pictures from Iceland. Assuming I maintained peak speed the entire time I am transferring. That is 495 seconds (8:25) vs 605 second (10:05)...110 second difference over 19 days. My sense of time is not that well calibrated. I also walk away and do other things so I don't notice it. Also the 990 EVO out performs the 990 Pro in this test.
