I ended buying this.
It comes out to $5 per season, which isn't too bad.

First five seasons are a self-contained story, good television. You really need an epsiode guide for the remaining seasons as so many are completely skippable.

I icked this up on iTunes for $40 a ways back and it is an incredible series. I would love to pick up the physical discs, but am going to hold on any more 1080p BRs. Wife will murder me if I buy another box set.

1-5 is an actual good show. The next 6-15 is some mix between good and woke. One season when the show runner decided that the car needed to be removed for some reason. She was fired after that. The entire series ends with second to the last episode. I found the very last episode a wash and that the second to last is how it should have ended, but it's Supernatural, is it really ever ended....

There are many great TV shows that were cancelled too early then there are the ones that lasted too long and ended up diminished their legacy.
eg... this show and The Black List.

I've watched the whole series a few times through over the years and my personal opinion is not to skip any. Even those episodes that don't have anything to do with the main plot are some of the best episodes (not in order).
monster movie
Dog Dean
LARP
real ghost busters
monster at the end of this book (where they first meet chuck)
the scooby doo episode
the episode about the car
the hitler episode (mostly for Dean proudly letting peeps know... in episodes after this)

Sure there's a few episodes that can be skipped, but it's what 40 minutes of you life? take your time, spread it out, watch them all. As with any good story telling this series WILL change your life.

I couldn't go past season 10, and that's with 8 and 9 being pretty dumb. I really don't understand how it went on so long after it lost the formula that made it great.
