How does it compare to other companies?
All of them require subscription.

They are crap. Even if you have Samsung phones around with the tracking enabled (which has to be done manually so no one out in public who doesnt own these trackers has it enabled) they still are super slow to update location. Sometimes only every 4 hours.

Lots of negative comments here, but these worked well for me on a trip from USA to Europe.

I could tell when my bags left the plane and made it onto the turn style.

Would you like to have these for backpacks and the dogs.

4.5 and 4.6 on Amazon and best buy, so I'm not alone in finding them useful

I got one as part of a phone purchase. Battery lasted 7 months and i recently found out it died maybe a month ago without any notification. The worst part is it uses batteries as opposed to being rechargeable. I instead use a smart key with built in tile to keep track of my keys

These are fine for tracking your stuff near you, but can't replace Air tags for stuff like luggage tracking. Also the UI is terrible and so damn hard to use compared to airtags

These are great, no idea about the complaints.

They track fast, and give a location history which no other trackers do. I've compared Tile, Chipolo (using the new Android Find My network), Airtags, and Samsung. They're just as good as AirTags for accuracy and better on features.

Agreed, they are just as good as Airtags but nicer in that you don't need an extra holder to put on a keychain. I just wish you could share location with a non-Galaxy device or perhaps access location via the web.

I'm very surprised about the comments. If the apple airtag is a 10/10 (which I agree it's a 10). This is at worst a 9/10, the alternatives are 0/10 either because they're bad or have a subscription fee (which this does not.

It has GPS tracking and will navigate you to the tag, and when you're close you can turn on your phone camera and follow the arrows to the Smarttag2. When you're close it'll have like a bunch of, what looks like glitter or sparks, showing you where the tag is.

These only work for Samsung Galaxy phones.

You can, it's nowhere near as good as the app though but does the very basic of showing you the location and you can make it ring.

smartthingsfind.samsung.com

(If you download the Samsung Smart things app, they still won't work on non-samsung phones)
