This TV from Costco or BJs is $1299 with 5 year warranty. On LG if you want 4 years , (+3) is $149 extra bringing it to $1318. So if you want warranty Costco is a better deal with 5 years for $20 less than from Partner store with only 4

Many think warranties are a bad investment. However, I just got burned on a Samsung being 3 months out of the CC extra year and it sucks. Wish I had bought a warranty. This is why it is a pleasure to buy from Costco.

Up to you. I am waiting for a little better of a deal. But if I was going to pull the trigger I'd prefer to pay a little more and get the warranty and service that Costco offers. Also the C4 is less than $200 more for one year newer model. Not sure if there is a huge difference but newer is usually better.
