How are pickleball shoes different than tennis shoes?
A lot of stiffer, I think and some models have different rubber compound at the bottom. Some last longer than others. I had a low end asics vs a higher end asics pickleball shoe and the low end barely lasted a few months of hard playing before I started to see holes in the bottom of my soles.
Code still working for Magic Speed 3. I've been curious about these but hard to find in store, they are mostly an ASICS on-line product. So happy to see them at this price. Worth a try. Hoping they are similar to the Brooks Hyperion.

Think it's good for running, so I imagine it's probably going to be good for walking.
This is not a good rule of thumb. A lot of running shoes have features that are designed for running strides and power and are uncomfortable to walk in. Some of these include exaggerated rockers and embedded plates. But usually an "everyday" trainer is fine for walking because they don't have any of these speciality type features.

Yeah, I see that $100 deal for Magic Speed 3. That's a good price for a well-regarded shoe, and I'd go for it if they had my size.
