This is an awesome chainsaw and great price. I have this along with the Dewalt 60V 18" and 20". It lasts much longer than the 60V versions and perfect for limbs and small cuts. I think it's on clearance because a newer version is being released.

Just bagged one in Ft Worth TX. Been wanting something like this and have dewalt batteries si it stopped me mid workout at the gym to go get my card from the locker room 😅

I would steer clear of this one. This might be the only DeWalt product I cannot recommend. It lasted about 15-20 cuttings and then completely died on me. It's as of the motor wasn't getting any power. Tried multiple batteries and the same thing. I took it apart and tested the trigger mechanism and it seems to be a defect. Just my 2 cent

You can go with Dewalt warranty repair. I used them before for my Dewalt cordless pruner (motor died in 3 months) and it was great. Dewalt power tool normally comes with 3 years warranty so I don't think it should be a problem.
