This is an awesome chainsaw and great price. I have this along with the Dewalt 60V 18" and 20". It lasts much longer than the 60V versions and perfect for limbs and small cuts. I think it's on clearance because a newer version is being released.

Just bagged one in Ft Worth TX. Been wanting something like this and have dewalt batteries si it stopped me mid workout at the gym to go get my card from the locker room 😅

Don't purchase the batteries from HD, Walmart has much better deals on Dewalt batteries.
I just bought this deal, been waiting on a good chainsaw.

Thanks for the recommendation, Just ordered a 3 pack of these, has good reviews, most bad reviews are from people ordering the wrong size chain, why have a saw with no spare chains makes no sense.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this. You can optionally increase the bar size to a 14" Oregon bar and chain.Oregon 27856 14-Inch Guide Bar and AdvanceCut S52 Chainsaw Chain Combo. I bought one last year and used it more than my other chainsaws. Works great for smaller branch cutting jobs.

-ear protection
-chainsaw/cut resistant gloves
-chaps - when we go bigger
-hardhat
Usually we just get a forester helmet setup

Bought one and used it today to assist in taking down 2 trees. Great for little stuff, limbs under 6 inches. Chain kind of like to skip of little branches. Chain rotation has a slight delay getting up to full speed, almost like it has a soft start motor. Either way I like it for dicing up a fell tree.

Thanks, got one for pick-up and my local electric cooperative in Mid-Michigan will give me back $40. I've applied for their rebates before and have never had a problem getting them to pay out.
