I was eyeing these machines for a while. I bought a different one and had to return it to them. They had awful customer service. Even though they said free returns I had to pay shipping. Get a flashforge m5 instead.
Seems like it could be a good deal if all the issues have been worked out. The reviews suggest it wasn't quite up to the half baked standard.
For $300 you can get the Flashforge 5M which is a great printer and all sorted out. The only negative vs this one is a 220x220 build area vs the larger 250x250. Note that 220 is a bit of an unofficial standard size since it was the size used by many printers including Creality.
The P1P is certainly a nicer printer though I think recently the P1S (the enclosed model) was on sale for the same $500. However, I find that to be a big price jump and not everyone will be able to just spend the extra money. The Bambu A1 is far closer in price and, despite being a bed slinger, still a capable printer. It also has a nice interface screen vs the P1P's limited interface screen.
