A quick Reddit search shows that the motor is underpowered and had issues with riders above 160lbs 😞

I just bought 2 of the 250w motor ones with a smaller battery than this deal for slightly cheaper. But these ones look a little better and specs

Sweet, grabbed the red one somebody posted. The rest of my family have ebikes (of varying cost/quality), while I just ride my hard tail mtb around, haha. Don't need the ebike, but now that my mom can do longer rides, I can just use this if we're going to be out and about for the day and save a bit of energy for other stuff. Looks to be similar in quality/components to a Schwinn ebike my brother's gf bought, and while that's not perfect, it's totally adequate just to get around. I also do my own work on the fleet of bikes I have, so no problem going in and throwing on some cheap hydraulic brakes, changing the saddle, throwing on a mega range freewheel, etc. just to make it a bit nicer to ride. Not expecting much for $300, but honestly, components wise, it's not that far off the Velotric bike my mom rides.
