those that know how to self-mod, 48 volts for the win?
we used to do that with e-bike motors a decade ago, overvolt 36v hardware at 48v
most hardware can handle it, it's just that you'd need to either replace the charger or charge the extra battery seperately which I guess the average person is not going to be able to deal with
All you need do is look at something like the JackRabbit XG to see your preconceived notions are fallacious.

Clearly the Yamaha is in another universe compared to the Kent.
