Despite Accessoriesforless selling mostly refurbs, this is brand new, 3 year factory warranty and A4L is an authorized retailer for Denon. Fantastic deal, used to come around every few months but it's been a long time since the last one.

I think this is the lowest price for a new 3800 in a long time.

I just bought it for $1,050 from Amazon.

I think I will keep the Amazon unit as I have the flexibilty to return it if the price drops more in next 30 days.

It hit $900 close to a year ago but that sale was about 3-4 hours long, might have been price mistake.

This is the low since then and hasn't been this price for a while.

I think the lowest ever was $889 from Nebraska Furniture Mart on Dec 2, 2023.

Another good option for the same $1050 price would be Best Buy.

AND......Nebraska Furniture Mart is a much better seller.
Some people claim to have had a great experience with Accessories4Less.... More power to them !!!

I bought from them before and the item was described as Pioneer factory refurbished but they sent me something that I could have gotten at a pawnshop, scuffed and heavily used.
I had to file a complaint with PP to get a refund.

My old Pioneer SC-97 died recently

I've been debating between Denon 3800 and the Pioneer 505.

However, they're a bit overkill for my needs.

I'm looking for a good receiver with 5.1 and 8K support. A good DAC would also be nice.

Does the Denon 2800 come close? Or stick with the original 2 options.

8k whatever, no device can output 8k and no display can show 8k. It's a spec line item

*sorry no device that mere mortals can possess can do 8k

If you have no preference the 505 has been pretty close to half this price.
I vote the 505.
